"'Esto no es un musical', advirtió Carles Alberola el pasado martes, cuando se presentó la obra que ha traído a Madrid el empresario teatral Alejandro Colubi. 'Las letras de las canciones, sobre todo las de José Luis Perales, son perfectas para hablar con humor de las relaciones de pareja, que por lo demás no tienen remedio', continuó Alberola. 'La canción melódica juega con la tragedia en sus letras y le pone un envoltorio de chocolate, que es la música'. La obra está montada en 15 escenas breves 'como si fueran los 15 temas de un compacto', con las que la compañía valenciana Albena Produccions busca hacer reír. Y lo consiguen. Resulta muy cómico que un actor recite con seriedad frases como: 'Y ¿cómo es él? ¿a qué dedica el tiempo libre?' o 'siempre me voy a enamorar de quien de mí no se enamora, es por eso que mi alma llora', sin la música correspondiente".
