"[Durante] doce meses Matarile ha estado construyendo esta nueva y ambiciosa obra en la que participan un total de doce artistas en escena entre actores, bailarines y músicos, dirigidos todos por Ana Vallés (...) La compañía continúa en su línea de trabajo caracterizada por crear con gente de distintas procedencias, lenguajes, culturas y formaciones escénicas. Para la directora del montaje «Historia natural es un proyecto muy ambicioso». (...). Un trabajo muy coral. Actores y actrices -entre ellas la invidente Mariu-, bailarines y músicos con sus diferentes lenguajes interactuarán en el escenario. «Los músicos se mezclan en el escenario y no se limitan simplemente a tocar en directo -aclara Ana-. No es ésto, sino que están integrados en todo el trabajo escénico como unos personajes más de esta propuesta». De hecho, la directora habla de «actuantes» al referirse a actores, bailarines y músicos. Porque, por encima del planteamiento conceptual del espectáculo -y esto explicaría el porqué del subtítulo- según Ana Vallés, «hay mucha base de entusiasmo, de querer reunirnos un montón de personas para trabajar juntos». Eso tiene mucho que ver con la idea de Matarile del teatro de hoy en día, de «reivindicación de un teatro entendido como un encuentro de personas». (...).
