"Teatro da mangiare? contiene una pregunta: ¿En Teatro da mangiare se come de verdad? Los 26 espectadores están sentados alrededor de una gran mesa, como en una casa de campo. Alrededor los tres actores cocinan, sirven la comida, hablan, cuentan, actúan y el lugar se convierte en un espacio de emoción y memoria. El trabajo de Ariette está básicamente relacionado con la autobiografia. Trabajando sobre su propia historia también el público empieza a mover sus recuerdos, sus vivencias. La comida abre las puertas del corazón y al final la experiencia es completa y muy intensa. El critico italiano Oliviero Ponte di Pino ha dicho que Teatro da mangiare? es un "striptease del alma"; al final de la función nadie se va, todos los espectadores permanecen allí y siguen hablando entre ellos y con los actores, durante horas y horas...Se hace necesario compartir, se trata de una emoción profunda".
