"En una pequeña ciudad de España, un partido político y su alcalde llevan más de treinta años ejerciendo el caciquismo y la corrupción. Se les notifica la llegada de un inspector del gobierno, que debe analizar sus cuentas. El alcalde siguiendo su tendencia natural, se propone comprar la voluntad del inspector con todo tipo de agasajos, homenajes, regalos y dinero. Sin embargo, aparecen en la ciudad un sobrino y su tío, con intención de solicitar la mano de la sobrina del alcalde. Éstos son confundidos por el inspector del gobierno, provocando todo tipo de divertidos malentendidos." |
