"La obra aborda el universo de los refugiados desde el lado de quienes se ven obligados a emigrar: las causas (guerras, ideologías, destrucción), los padecimientos (hambre, frío, desaparición de seres queridos), las circunstancias que afrontan (engaños, abandono, indefensión, soledad), y sobre todo el miedo, la incertidumbre de lo que les espera...
