Summary, etc	" Arthur Miller, al reflexionar sobre el estreno de la versión cinematográfica de su drama La muerte de un viajante (Lazslo Benedek, 1952), mostraba su insatisfacción por el resultado del traslado de su texto a la pantalla y cifraba sus reproches fundamentalmente en el hecho de que los recuerdos de Willy Loman perdían toda su tensión dramática al ubicarlos el filme en lugares que, en la representación escénica, tan solo existían en su imaginación. Para Miller esa tensión derivaba ante todo de la sensación de horror que provoca contemplar a un hombre que pierde la conciencia de su entorno más inmediato hasta el punto de entablar conversaciones con personas inexistentes...."
