"La abuela Sol y las Trece Rosas es una obra de teatro juvenil destinada a ser representada por alumnas y alumnos, y contribuir así a mantener viva la memoria de las Trece Rosas, trece jóvenes republicanas fusiladas al acabar la guerra civil española, sin juicio ni defensa, cuyo recuerdo simboliza el horror y la injusticia que impera en todas las dictaduras y en todas las guerras. El autor, Maxi de Diego, doctor en didáctica de la escritura teatral, plantea la obra como una lección de historia reciente, en la que utiliza fuentes orales, cuyo relato interpela a las y los jóvenes de hoy sobre su capacidad de compromiso con un mundo más justo y más humano". |
