"¿Por qué el teatro? ¿Para qué sirve? ¿De qué trata?<br/><br/>Partiendo de estas y otras muchas cuestiones emprenderemos un viaje gozoso y dramático. Descubriremos que no estamos solos y que muchos grandes profesionales del teatro han encontrado en estas preguntas su inspiración. Por eso hacemos lo que hacemos.<br/><br/>“El teatro es un arma muy peligrosa”. Estas palabras fueron escritas en los años veinte del siglo XX por uno de los directores de teatro más creativos e innovadores del momento, cuyo nombre era Meyerhold. Advirtió los peligros y amenazas que se cernían sobre el teatro y las artes en general en la Rusia de los años treinta, pero continuó trabajando con la esperanza puesta en el triunfo de la revolución, pagando por ello con su vida.<br/><br/>Los tres intérpretes, Kathryn Hunter, Hayley Carmichael y Marcello Magni, desplegarán ante nosotros una historia humana, al tiempo dramática y cómica". |
