Unquestionably, RISM's MUSCAT tool offers the possibility for all agents involved to display and make known their primary sources worldwide. Within this frame, MUSCAT contributes to promoting Byzantine music-related sources as well. Mainly during 2019 and 2020, the Greek RISM Office has been working closely withthe Central Office regarding specific MUSCAT-related issues. It is to our satisfaction and deep appreciation that our team is exploring ways of optimisation and consequently contributes to the alignment of MUSCAT with current information technologies on music authority metadata. Working on common ground with the Central Office, the goal is to ensure that all developments implemented through MUSCAT's further customisation aim at making MUSCAT a far more efficient and interactive international tool, easy to comprehend and use by all agents involved, in and out of MUSCAT.
