| Summary, etc | RESUMEN: Reportaje sobre la Competición Internacional de Ballet de Nueva York, que es un concurso de danza para aspirantes a bailarines de entre 17 y 24 años. Entre las representaciones destacan: las variaciones clásicas de "La Fille Mal Gardée", enseñada por Winthrop Carey (directora artística del Mobile Ballet) y "Satenella" , enseñada por Valentina Kozlova (antigua bailarina del Bolshoi Ballet y del New York City Ballet). El dueto conteomporáneo fue "Choreographic Offering" de José Limón, enseñado por Roxane D'Orleans Juste, de la Compañía de Danza de José Limón. El panel de jueces internacionales estuvo formado por Victoria Morgan (directora artística del Cincinnati Ballet), Alex Ratamansky (director artístico del Bolshoi Ballet), Stanton Welch (director artístico del Houston Ballet), Víctor Ullate (director artístico del Ballet de la Comunidad de Madrid), Hans Van Manen (coreógrafo), Dame Merle Park (antigua bailarina del Royal Ballet), André Lewis (director artístico del Royal Winnipeg Ballet) y Xin Lili (directora artística del Shangai Ballet). |
