| Summary, etc | Fueron mujeres y también compositoras: Julie Adrienne Carricaburu (1827-1898) fue una folclorista pionera que recogió cantos en dialecto suletino a mediados del XIX. Emma Chacón (1886-1972) estudió con Enrique Granados antes de trasladarse a Bilbao, donde destacó como compositora de canciones. La navarra Emiliana de Zubeldia (1891-1987) se formó en la Schola Cantorum de París y fue una figura central de la vida musical mexicana a mediados del siglo XX. Ana Idiartborde (1891-1943) llegaría a dedicar sus Páginas argentinas al pianista Ricardo Viñes. María Luisa Ozaita (1939-2017) fue alumna de Fernando Remacha y legó un amplio repertorio camerístico. Aunque sus obras fueron apreciadas en los ambientes musicales de su tiempo, todas ellas son hoy desconocidas. Este Aula de (Re)estrenos quiere contribuir a rescatarlas de ese olvido injustificado. |
