Summary, etc	"Pronto, el próximo 17 de febrero, hará 4 años que Jean Duvignaud murió, a la edad de 86 años. Esta dilatada cronología está repleta de iniciativas socioculturales, actividades editoriales, compromiso político, docencia universitaria, investigaciones. Sería inoportuno detallarlo, pero existen varios rasgos en esa trayectoria que nos convencen de la oportunidad de extendernos en una especie de presentación de su obra; de un lado, la obra intelectual de Duvignaud, a pesar de su aparente carácter polimórfico, tiene una coherencia, que yo diría basada en un concepto incitante y fecundo de la mirada sociológica, y en un compromiso político ejercido a través de la crítica cultural. De ahí se deriva la oportunidad de señalar, al menos, algunos hitos de su itinerario conceptual y político, porque esta Sociología del teatro (en adelante ST), no solo es el resultado de investigaciones y exploraciones previas (por ejemplo, en el poblado tunecino de Shebika), sino que contiene en germen un modo de abordar la realidad que ejercerá Duvignaud el resto de su vida..."
