"...Las directoras de Teatro En Vilo se proponen el reto de desenmascarar el relato tradicional de la masculinidad y sus referentes a través de la ironía, la irreverencia y el humor absurdo. En un momento en el que los códigos masculinos tradicionales han quedado obsoletos y los nuevos están todavía por elaborar, Man Up quiere ser un espacio desde el que cuestionar las suposiciones culturales sobre qué significa ser un hombre y un lugar desde el que imaginar nuevas maneras de serlo. En escena, seis actores se lanzarán a representar un gran carnaval de la masculinidad, jugando a deconstruir, reconstruir o destruir los referentes culturales que rigen los estándares de la hombría; a la vez que reflexionan sobre su lugar en el mundo y su propia identidad."
