La ópera está escrita sobre un libreto de Luis Fernández Ardavín (1892-1962) y fue interpretada en las pruebas para los candidatos a la beca, el 04-07-1928. Los candidatos debían componer una fuga, una composición religiosa para voces y orquesta (que fue el "Ave verum") y un acto de una ópera. Los intérpretes fueron componentes del cuadro artístico de Unión Radio y de la capilla real, dirigidos por el maestro Franco. |
