Discantus Vocal Ensemble (Nombre de entidad)

The Discantus Vocal Ensemble was founded in the autumn of 1996 in Budapest and has been directed by Péter Mészáros since 2003. Its main focus is Late Renaissance and Early Baroque sacred choral music. The repertoire also includes some secular music from these periods and due to the size of the vocal ensemble and the skills of the singers, pieces from the twentieth century and contemporary works as well.
