She received her formation in dance in Australia and U.S.A in the modern dance techniques of: Cunningham, Horton, and Limón, as well as in jazz, classical ballet and release. Has worked as a dancer and choreographer in Sydney and has danced in Tokyo, New York and in dance companies in Madrid: Cia. Karmen Larumbe, Carl Paris, Deborah Greenfield, Pablo Molero, Antonio Palazon and in Barcelona: Cia Búbulus and KDK (Karim Karim). She has been living and working in Barcelona since 1997. She has been teaching contemporary dance in Barcelona on a continuous basis since 1997, and is also guest teacher for the companies Norrdans of Sweden, Metros (Ramón Oller), Barcelona and the Stadtteatre Osnabrück, Germany. Since 2001 she has created the solos - “Murphy’s Law” (2001) and “trifàsic” (2002) and the duet “Exhausted” with Karim Karim. “Murphy’s Law” and “Exhausted” were presented at the Fierce Earth festival in Birmingham, England as well as performances in Barcelona. In October of 2002 she won the first prize in the Madrid Choreographic Competition with the piece “Las Gallinas Corren Como Locas” which afterwards was performed in several cities in Spain. In 2003 she made, in collaboration with Emilio Gutiérrez and Xevi Dorca, the piece “Game Over” to be presented, as invited choreographer to the XVII Madrid Choreographic Competition. The piece was later selected by Aerowaves for performances in London (The Place 2005) and in the Prague festival “Tanec Praha” (2006).
