Pirie, Jane (Nombre de persona)

Studied cello at the Royal Academy of Music during the 1980’s, then headed off to Exeter University to do a PGCE at before returning to London to work as a primary class teacher and special needs teacher for many years. Jane Pirie is Rare Books Curator in the Department of Museums and Special Collections at the University of Aberdeen and has worked with the collections for over 25 years. In addition to cataloguing, she specialises in provenance and bindings.
