Judith Mackrell's Bloomsbury Ballerina, Lydia Lopokova: IMperial dancer and Mrs John Maynard Keynes will be published in April by Weidenfeld and Nicolson.

The letters of Lydia Lopokova and John Maynard Keynes are held in the King's College Archive, Cambridge.

Lopokova was support, powerbroker and inspiration to The Camargo Society. Lopokova once wounded de Valois by dismissing British dancers as "puddings" yet she was still protective of them.
