Obituary: Valerie Taylor-Barnes, former soloist with the Royal Ballet of London. She had trained with Sadler's Wells Ballet (now The Royal Ballet). One of her favourite roles had been the Miller's Wife in Leonide Massine's Le Tricorne and she also danced in the premières of Frederick Ashton's Cinderella and The Two Pigeons.
