La empresa privada y el mundo de la fantasía, una ecuación rentable. (El teatro infantil de iniciativa privada en Madrid. 1939-1945) / Cristina Santolaria Solano

En estas páginas se muestra cómo, durante el primer franquismo, y siguiendo sus consignas, en Madrid, se produjo una eclosión del teatro dedicado a la infancia, protagonizado, de forma significativa, por la iniciativa privada. Entre este teatro, sobresalió, por su popularidad, el interpretado por niños. Se trataba, por supuesto, de un teatro que pretendía entretener, pero, sobre todo, educar en los principios cristianos. Entre las compañías más destacadas en esta modalidad teatral, cabe mencionar la Cª Infantil del Teatro Español y la Cª Galas Infantiles de Radio España, ambas nacidas por iniciativa de Manuel Herrera Oria; la Cª Lírica Li-liput, al amparo de Luis Pérez de León, y la Cª Teatro Infantil Maravillas.

THE PRIVATE COMPANY AND THE FANTASY WORLD: A PROFITABLE EQUATION.
(THE CHILDREN'S THEATRE AND PRIVATE INITIATIVE IN MADRID. 1939-1945)
Abstract: These pages show how, during the first Francoism, and following its directives, there was an emergence of the theater dedicated to children in Madrid, starring, in a significant way, by private initiative. Among this theater, the one played by children stood out due to its popularity. It was, of course, a theater that was intended to entertain, but, above all, to educate in the Christian principles.
Among the most outstanding companies in this theatrical modality, it is worth mentioning the Cª Infantil del Teatro Español and the Cª Galas Infantiles de Radio España, both born by Manuel Herrera Oria's initiative; the Cª Lírica Li-liput, under the protection of Luis Pérez de León; and the Cª Teatro Infantil Maravillas.
